Glad to hear it -- and you are welcome in your armchair! I was surprised by how energized I felt at the end of that hike. It was the polar opposite of what I expected -- I'm so glad I took the opportunity!
Thanks for sharing your experience. It has whet my appetite for exploring a new hiking destination. I had no idea about the "Hiking Island".
Congratulations on stepping out of your comfort zone. It's amazing how encouraging and rewarding that can be, especially with the support of others. And next time you'll likely find it a lot less overwhelming.
The funny thing is how different we all are in terms of what challenges us. I'd happily hike up mountains and step out of a plane, but the idea of a retreat scares me.
Thanks, Glenda! And if you're looking for a retreat, then I highly recommend Imagine Greece Retreats -- as I'm sure you can tell. Jonas and his wife Rania Stone (a thriller author) helped smooth the process for everyone from the moment we signed up. (And they're not even paying me to say that LOL)
Gorgeous photographs! I'm so glad you were able to overcome your fears and take that hike.
Thanks, Ann Marie! It's always easier with a little help from my writer-friends.
Beautiful article, Marie. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, Greg! I'm glad you enjoyed it!
You inspire me with my 67-year-old knees! I looked at all those steps and am glad to have this arm-chair adventure. The views are spectacular.

I wish we were back there!
Me too! What an incredible experience. And it was so much fun sharing it with you and our group of intrepid mountain hikers!
